I really didn't get why people were so fascinated by Villalobos until last May when I saw him in Romania, he played for like 8 hrs and he absolutely blew me away such interesting and intricate music. If you'd asked me what he plays I would respond I don't know anything goes.

And on Villalobos, there's just something so unique about his sets, and methods of song selection. No one else does it better in my books.

"....a place to go" and "...something no one can take from me" are not how I've ever thought of music, but I LOVE those two concepts so much!!! It is "always there," so true!!
