GYY:
Those of you that have been on MS for years & years, have you ever tried to quit it? I can't even go a freakin day without clicking on it.
Is it a healthy or unhealthy habit for you do you think?
Would you say it's an addiction of sorts (seriously)? or am I just thinking too much?
Because I don't like that mine says "Addiction started" above my avatar, even though I know it's just a silly thing, I don't want to be addicted/dependent on anything. Even if I say to myself "I'll just look at the music," I find I'm drawn to the other discussions as well and, what's worse, I feel some sense of caring about each member I've interacted with on here and maybe all is partly due to the anonymity, because I hate FB these days.
On one hand, I'm really kind of ticked off that I can't seem to quit this place; on the other, I'm so grateful I found it at all. The world seems particularly dark right now everywhere online & in the news, but MS seems like a respite of sorts.
I guess, why fight it, right? There are worse things to do with one's time.
