          Release Notes:

          01. Renato Ratier - 3 Bulls (M.A.N.D.Y. Remix) [D-edge Records | Promo]

Renato Ratier is the main person behind the legendary Brazilian club D-Edge as a founder, owner and Dj resident. In 2011 he became the partner/owner and resident of Warung Beach Club. The original of 3 Bulls was released as part of his debut LP 'Black Belt' [DEDGEREC012].

          02. Anthony Middleton - Waves (Marcelo Vasami Rework) [Saw Recordings | unreleased]

The original of 'Waves' was released in October 2008 as part of Anthony Middleton's 'Underneath The Night' LP [SAW067]

Anthony is better known as one half of the prolific and hard-working Audiofly duo. Currently very much in demand. Though Anthony is the main engineer for Audiofly, as well as Rekleiner, Sleeper Thief , SLAAF and of course Opus Ink, he still finds the occasional moment for his own music ….these moments are, of course, mainly in the middle of the night, when he wakes with an annoying loop going round and round his brain. So, the main emphasis of the Anthony Middleton project is just to write more, experiment more and mainly keep those loop demons at bay.

          03. Miss Melera - Faith [Einmusika Recordings | Einmusika031]

Welcome at the end of a restless summer, welcome back in the club, welcome Miss Melera!

Einmusika starts the season with a deep and magic EP from Holland’s mixing queen. For quite some times she’s a family member, but now we are listening to the first tracks on our label, rolling trough the night and over the last open air areas like thunder. Miss Melera loves and feels melodies, wrapped in between straight and pulsating claps and proper grooves. This release isn’t gentle, it isn’t feminine, it’s combining a booming bass, hands-in-the-air lines and lithe metallic rhythms.

It’s always good to have a dessert and this one comes from Einmusik. He did a remix of the title track „Faith“ with typical skills and dark breaks. So what you are waiting for? Let’s go inside.

          Released by: Einmusika Recordings
          Cat#: Einmusika031
          Release date: 24 September 2014

          05. Blond:ish - Wunderkammer [Kompakt | KOM 308]

Thanks to their immaculate taste in music and impressive presence behind the decks, BLOND:ISH's Anstascia and Vivie-Ann have established a firm reign over global dance floors - but even more astounding is their continued bravura in the studio as evidenced by their latest offering WUNDERKAMMER: here, you'll witness them delving ever deeper into the psychedelic influences that already informed their LOVERS IN LIMBO EP (KOMPAKT 253) and INWARD VISIONS (KOMPAKT 26 releases.

Last year has been quite a ride for BLOND:ISH, with the duo working through an incredibly busy tour schedule: a rewarding experience for sure, but certainly not the ideal backdrop for reclusive producing sessions. To reconnect with their studio flow, our protagonists decided to take some time off and headed to Tulum, Mexico - one of the last citys built by the Mayas, this arcadian place now became the personal paradise for two crazy gringas setting up a little studio and going on field recording trips. It's where they would try to commit to tape the sounds of chanting street merchants, roaring dirt bikes and whispering ancient ruins. Yes, you got that picture right: Blond:ish were stalking the coconut guy with a field recorder. You're welcome.

It's no wonder, then, that WUNDERKAMMER presents itself as a tremedously atmospheric package, with its three cuts drenched in intriguing textures and exotic fumes.

Fittingly, the opening title track kicks things off with some heavy reverb engulfing the raspy guitar strumming, placing us right where BLOND:ISH left us with their masterful INWARD VISIONS EP almost exactly one year earlier: again, it's a somewhat surreal setting that we're presented with, a place full of trapdoors, double entendres and contorted perspectives - all held together by relentless beat programming and semisynthetic voice snippets luring us deeper into the subterranean maze.

A ruminating and downright creepy anthem, this perfectly primes the ears for BIRDS EAT BIRDS, the flipside's belligerent main floor cut that rules over its bleeping synth troops with the allure of a mad, yet triumphant king.

The lunacy certainly doesn't stop there - it just changes its apparition with STOLEN ROMANCE, WUNDERKAMMER's sweeping, abyssal closing track. In what can be reckoned among the sneakier hallucinogens on offer, BLOND:ISH let all towering delusions collapse and adopt a self-reflective stance, creating their own post-apocalyptic downbeat manifesto in the process.

          Release Date: 21 July 2014

          06. Of Norway - Running Lights [My Favorite Robots Records | MFR108]

Quality Canadian label and close-knit electronic family My Favorite Robot offers up a Various Artist EP and introduces us to some fine talent on their 108th release. Guy Mantzur & Khen, Slok and Of Norway all turn out one track each and every one is pleasingly different to the next.

Having previously worked together on a number of remixes and originals on labels like Sudbeat, Guy Mantzur & Khen team up for ‘Touching Distance’. It’s an epic, ten minute bit of stormy and tumultuous tech edged house with breaking synth waves, kinetic percussion, plenty of drama and atmosphere and lots of bright, glistening metal surfaces. It’s wholly abstract but is a wellconstructed groove that fits in perfectly with the indie leaning label’s cannon.

Next up is Italian Alessandro Russo aka Slok, who has associations with labels like Satoshi Tomiie’s SAW, One Records and Get Physical going all the way back to the nineties. His contribution, ‘The Trip’, is a deep and broody bit of house with supple pads, clean and uplifting chords and slinky, wiggling drums and hi hats that really draw you in to the dance. Emotive and airy, it’s a nicely spacious groove that really resonates as it rolls on.

Finally, Of Norway are Vegard Wolf Dyvik and Carl Christian Steenstrup, a pair who say their sounds are like being lost in the woods of Norway – warm, dubby, deep. Their track ‘Running Lights V’ is just that – sparse, dark, mysterious and eerie in its little melodies and haunted sounding chords. Driven by rubbery beats and water droplet like melodies, it’s one that really sends shivers up your spine.

These three make for welcome additions to the MFR family and come up with some fantastically original track in the process.

Released by: My Favorite Robots Records
          Release/catalogue number: MFR108
          Release date: 8 September 2014

          07. Andre Sobota - Fallout [Kyubu Records | KYB005]

KYUBU are back with two slammin cuts from Brazilian wonder kid Andre Sobota. So lets not beat around the bush and lets get to the music...

The title track Fallout, is a sophisticated building gem that develops and strengthens, delivering an energetic 'moment' during your set. Slightly moody edged, yet with
hallmark Sobota melodics, this is a bit of a winner!

Backing up the EP we have Southern Sundance that is a smile inducing warm slab of goodness. Big pads evolve, creating tension as the track reaches its euphoric break, before those epic key changes land to take the roof off. The description of this being 'Big' doesn't do this track justice!

A monster EP from KYUBU once again, don't miss this!

          Released by: Kyubu Records
          Release date: 8 September 2014

          08. Ewan Rill & Anton Ttx - Reason To Live (Hugo Ibarra & Uvo Remix) [Suffused Music | SMD050]

Lithuania's Suffused Music has been one of the shining lights in the vastly over-populated electronic music underground. The labels passion for pushing emotional club music has been strong since its 2013 first quarter inception. This week finds the label celebrating its 50th release which will certainly go down as one of its biggest to date.

One of Suffused Music's most loved artists has undoubtedly been Ewan Rill. The Russian producer has been a staple of both quality and consistency so it's no surprise that the monumental 50th release has been left in his trusted hands. At times in Ewan's career he's collaborated with fellow countryman Anton Ttx.

In 2013 this studio partnership yielded several of Magic Room's most impressive releases. The duos first collaboration of 2014 is entitled 'Reason To Live' and it also celebrates Suffused Music's milestone 50th release. Ewan's studio creations always have a keen sense for the dance floor and the pairing with Anton only seems to make the grooves more infectious.

'Reason To Live' boasts a funky yet powerful framework which is accented with acidic bass tones, strong rhythms and a subtle emotional component which is particularly evident during the main break. This modern day take on progressive house shows Suffused Music is as much comminuted to pushing a contemporary sound as it is to showcasing the nostalgic tendencies of the old school.

It's a fabulous track to commemorate the labels 50th release and they've also compiled one of their strongest remix teams to date which features Advent's Rising, Hugo Ibarra and Uvo, Magnetic Brothers and Magshine.

          Release date: 21 July 2014
