“Music is Moments”. Sticking to this highly convincing credo, Hamburg techno and house don Mladen Solomun has created moments aplenty lately. Making waves on the scene since 2006, Solomun’s popularity reached a new plateau following his first stint on Ibiza in 2012, where he created a much-noted platform not just for himself, but also for his extended musical family, with the Diynamic Neon Nights at Sankeys, and the Solomun+1 residency at Pacha. Besides getting busy at the controls, Solomun is known to be just as comfy in the lab, piecing together emotive house and techno tunes for labels like Watergate Records, Mobilee, Get Physical and his own imprints Diynamic and 2DIY4.
