01. Mike Griego & Stas Drive - Final Whisper [Flow Vinyl | FV057]

Dance music has always been about breaking down boundaries and celebrating life, so it’s fitting that the latest release from Flow Vinyl is a partnership between two very talent artists from different parts of the world: Mike Griego from Argentina and Stas Drive from Ukraine.

Together they have crafted three tracks of melodic and colourful electronic music which are sure to bring energy and inspiration to the dance-floor. Both producers have firmly established their credentials with solo releases receiving major DJ support; Mike Griego on labels like Sudbeat, Replug and Lowbit, and Stas Drive on Lost & Found, Hope, MicroCastle and Sudbeat, who also records as Quattar and Salt N Sugar before 2011.

This is their first full collaboration, however, and the results are outstanding. Exceptional work from this duo and Flow Vinyl who continue to raise the bar with every release.

Following the outright success of 'Paper Aeroplane', which won Track Of The Season at the Ibiza DJ Awards 2013, Francesco Rossi is back, this time teaming up with Belgian vocalist Ozark Henry for the majestic 'Godspeed You'.

The track has already received support from the likes of Pete Tong, but now musical mastermind Martin Buttrich has taken the reigns, directing the track to a place only he could. Stripping back all the vocals and the grandeur, Buttrich crafts deeper, melodic sound, riding an addictive, pulsating bass line.

Coupled with another version from David Morales, the remix is out August 22nd via d:vision, so take a exclusive listen now, and we think you'll agree it goes down smooth.

Born in A Coruńa (Spain) Francisco aka Lefrenk, is passionate about electronic music in all its expressions and trends, expressing particular interest in Techno, IDM, Minimal and several of his variants. At a very early age, he began to break into the world of musical creation with a long background through multitude of software, which was transformed over time into an obsession to seek new experiences through sound controllers, something that is reflected in his compositions.

04. Ian Pooley - The Beginning (Dub) (Floris EP) [Innervisions | IV53]

Ian Christopher Pinnekamp is better known as Ian Pooley. Hailing from Mainz, near Frankfurt, Germany, Ian Pooley, alongside other nu school German artists such as Mousse T., Boris Dlugosch and partner in crime, DJ Tonka, has been swapping the traditional hard trance/techno sounds typical of some German clubs for the funky and sublime sounds imported from America, to great affect.

These days he features on iconic labels from Dixon's Innervisions to Josh Wink's Ovum Recordings as well a his own Pooledmusic imprint.

Brooklyn-born DJ, producer and remixer, Angel Moraes started his career in the 90's along with his own label "Hot 'N' Spycy". He earned worldwide recognition for his releases, "I Like It (I Like How You're Lov'in Me)", "The Cure" and "Welcome To The Factory", as well as remixes for Funky Green Dogs, Pet Shop Boys, Jaydee and Fire Island to name just a few.
Angel is also an original founder of Stereo Club in Montreal.

"Last Sunday I had a chance to drop/test these 2 new productions at Sunday Service and the response was amazing. Here's a little taste of what I've been working on. These are just 2 of a slew of new Music I'm working on for 2014 which includes collaborations with, Celeda, Inaya Day, Sin Morera and Sandy B and many more. Lucas Rossi hailing from Córdoba, Argentina is an aspiring member of the new breed of progressive generation, following the south american vibe, built on floating textures. Lucas released tracks already on numerous labels like Balkan Connection South America, Mystic Carousel and Green Snake Records.

'Before The Calm' has had played from Nick Warren at Lokitas (Córdoba) and Hernán Cattáneo at Superclub (Peru). His Return of the Sun EP is out now on Suffused Music [SMD045]

07. Scotty.A - The Way She Smiles (Lonya Remix) (Expressions of the Soul Pt. 2) [Proton Music | PROTON0262]

Launched in the depths of winter, Scotty.A and his "Expressions of the Soul" lit up dark nights with the UK producer's compelling blend of warm analogue melodies and driving house beats. Returning now for a second outing, both tracks make a second appearance courtesy of a pair of remixes from Dutch masters and Israeli flare.

Paul Hazendonk is a man of inimitable style and talent. Head of the world renowned Manual Music, the steam of stars to pass through the imprint require a veritable parting of the Red Sea as Henry Saiz, Guy J and Hernan Cattaneo have all produced music for a label that has seen global support. A prodigious talent from an early age, a keen interest in the dance music world soon led to gigs in his Rotterdam hometown followed by numerous international festival appearances and residencies at Las Palmas and Asta. A production career that has seen the likes of Hope, Black Hole and Sudbeat host the Hazendonk name, ably demonstrates an abundance of production talent often seen in collaborative synchronicity with fellow Dutchman, Noraj Cue.

A musical upbringing saw Cue rise from playing household implements in his youth to the natural evolution of an accomplished producer with a plethora of high-profile releases to his name for Hazendonk's Manual Music as well as FutureForm, Blendwerk and Lowbit. Together, the duo's "Emergence" EP in the autumn of 2013 marked a watershed, as did a sublime remix of Silinder's "Pavement" in the spring of that year. Returning now for a second rework, Hazendonk and Cue's remix of "Soul Blossom" cleverly echoes the themes of Scotty.A's original while developing a delightful divergent characteristic. Bass line melody and delayed plucks create an effervescence that drifts on sumptuous strings and strong house beat that delivers expert house rhythm to mesmerising effect.

Israeli, Lonya, is a man at the epicentre of his country's dance scene that has further blossomed into international success at the upper echelons of underground house music. An accomplished DJ who not only performs across the Tel Aviv capital, but who is also resident at the world-famous The Cat and The Dog club, Lonya's name is well recognised in his home country and across international boarders. Founder of the Asymmetric Recordings imprint in 2006, the label has become a byword for excellence that has seen a diverse and eclectic collection of music pass through its doors, furthering the house genre.

As a producer himself, the Lonya name has been attached to such luminary imprints as Parquet, Flow Vinyl and Tulipa while a clutch of releases have found their way onto Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat including March 2014's collaboration with countryman Guy Mantzur as the duo remixed Cattaneo and Sound Exile.

Following a remix of DNYO's "Escape To Bossa Nova" for Proton Music in April, Lonya's remix of Scotty.A creates a wonderfully innovative interpretation of "The Way She Smiles". Ideas inherent in the original resonate against a backdrop of tight house beats as richly textured pads and spacious white noise effects drift enticingly in conjunction with a distinctive lead line. A running bass line creates energy and tension to create a unique remix that keeps Lonya at the underground cutting edge.

Projecting light from within, Paul Hazendon, Noraj Cue and Lonya have shown an enlightened path to Scotty.A and his "Expressions of the Soul".
