I still like soundcloud a lot, mixcloud's no downloads are annoying.

I think the UI is still nice and easy to use, and any site which becomes big enough and has the most users will always start getting attention of major labels and if they want to crack down on people posting mixes with their content they are free to do so. It sucks, but thats how it works....

^^^They are taking artist own work from them. It's a total mess and getting worse.

^^^The vast majority of artist's own copyright on their own music. Take down notices are claimed by the labels but on behalf of the artists' . Another very big elephant in the the room is that the methods they use to identify tracks are far from 100% accurate. It's definitely a big steaming mess

I think Soundcloud is pisspoor, my premium just ran out and I won't be renewing it

Basically the inability to see what people are "liking," when that went away, the majority of what made SC so great went away, for me.

It's not a matter of that troll face, it's a matter of finding new music. Whether I like it is entirely my own deal. But nice try . You see, if I find someone with similar taste as me, and they "like" a mix on soundcloud, then I'd check it out too. That's not too complicated is it?
