Starring Robert Downey Jr, Robert Duvall, and Billy Bob Thorton has anyone seen this film yet? Wondering what you thought of it if you did?
Might be a bit biased because I always enjoy Rbt D. At first it seemed predictable, slow, and rather cheesy, but I stayed open minded and enjoyed the film and the complexities it tried to depict of challenging parent/child lifelong relationships as well as dysfunction within a family of very strong personalities/wills. Fully appreciated the senior care aspect, honesty of hidden resentments, and it's message that love is really all that ever matters. I thought it was pretty well done & acted now that I try to put my thoughts into words. yea, it was a good film... had some great moments.
