    Re: Avengers: Age of Ultron

I thought it was okay, but they're not really making an effort at hinting at a whole bunch of spin off movies and future film plots anymore.

James Spader was a very good and very unusual choice for Ultron, imbuing him with strange, nearly schizophrenic traits and tics to make him seem much more menacing than simply going with the special effects motion capture.

Liked it a bit less than the first movie, but it still worked well for me.

It's not like the X-Men, who are all tortured by the same thing and have similar costumes. These guys are just all over the place. And so it's tough." He was so exhausted with working on this film, that he decided not to direct the sequels"

he calls it a nightmare should have declined to make the 2nd one, as well

He also hinted at a bit of studio interference, which could mean that we're at a turning point with the Marvel and Disney co-operation.

Disney has a habit of claiming that nothing will change when they acquire something, like Miramax Studios in the mid 90's (and then dropped Kevin Smith's Dogma when religious groups started to protest) or their contentious history with Pixar (Michael Eisner - who ran Disney in the mid 90's into the early 2000's - nearly mothballed A Bug's Life and Finding Nemo). If this is a case where Disney starts to interfere more and more with Marvel productions, it'll likely be a case where they'll scoop the best talent from Marvel and bring them into the Disney fold - like they did with Pixar, who were given assignments like Frozen and Big Hero 6.

I liked it overall. I thought that the movie was a bit long-winded but it had its moments. The Iron Man vs. Hulk fight was worth the price of admission, IMO.

I watched it a week ago, and.... mmmmmmm so so
It was kinda boring, just a bunch of great visual FX. There was little drama (superheroesī movies need the drama of the characters, imo), and the storyline wasnīt deep enough. I prefer the movies dedicated just to one superhero, than this group thing. Itīs just my opinion, but I was expecting something else.
              Itīs a spiritual thing!
