        03. Marcelo Vasami - Laval Station (Tash a La Gare Profonde Remix) [Movement Recordings | MOV097]

Marcelo Vasami has been an integral part of Movement Recordings for the last several years. The Argentinean producer has contributed an original and a remix for the Greek imprint over that time. He continues to be one of his country's most in demand DJ talents and has appeared on both Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music and Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital in 2014. Now we see Marcelo returning to Movement Recordings for his third overall appearance and a second single entitled 'Laval Station' which includes remixes from Tvardovsky and Tash.

Marcelo made his mark in the electronic music underground with a deep and hypnotic sound which quickly became his trademark. With the continual support of Hernan Cattaneo Marcelo rose up the production ranks at a rapid pace and his unique sound spawned it's fair share of imitators. 'Laval Station' proves to be one of Marcelo's most meticulous dance floor creations to date. The Argentinean producer's deep grooves and detailed drum work has never been stronger. Gaseous sweeps along with a complement of trippy electronics assault your senses over the first half while a tension filled break sets up an invigorating conclusion. Definitely one for an educated dance floor.

The first interpretation of 'Laval Station' is supplied by Tvardovsky who is returning to Movement Recordings for his second appearance. The Ukrainian producer has been enjoying the best year of his career with recent productions for Parquet Recordings and Proton Music. The Tvardovsky sound has evolved immensely in 2014 and his interpretation of 'Laval Station' is further proof of that. From its deep and sultry first half to its blissful and musically inspired breakdown the Ukrainian producer has truly out done himself here. An enchanting record that wins you over not only for its distinctive melodies but also its modern groove.

The second and final interpretation of 'Laval Station' is supplied by Movement Recordings label boss Tash. Fresh off a remix for 'Act To The Right' by the Magnetic Brothers the Greek producer is once again back in the production spotlight. After a busy summer of events Tash has been refocused in the studio of late and it's really paying off. His interpretation of Marcelo's 'Laval Station' has already been played by Hernan Cattaneo on his much loved Resident podcast and a after a quick listen it's not hard to see why the legendary DJ has taken such a liking to the track. Tash's revision has used all the great elements from Marcelo's original and reinvented them over a moody, minimalistic groove that's perfect for the dance floor. The atmospheric second act ups the emotional content but keeps the reserved contemporary vibe well intact. A standout interpretation from Tash which rounds out another excellent release on Movement Recordings.

        04. Sound Process - Shivering (Class Concept Vol. 4) [DeepClass Records | DCREC116]

As the summer sun warms the days, DeepClass Records release Class Concept Volume 4 will heat up the nights. As always, it features extraordinary amazing tracks, perfectly tailored by various well known artists for the summer. Its catchy bass-lines and surprisingly deep melodies will work both for warmups as well as the core of the night, making Class Concept Volume 4 a must have for all Deep House fans.

        Release Date: 19 August 2013

        05. Navar - Moments In Life (16 Bit Lolitas Remix)) [microCastle | MCSL035]

The 35th release on microCastle welcomes Navar back to the label for his first EP.

The Dutch producer contributed a remix to our 'five years of' collection this past July and we're thrilled to have him on board for his first original project. Navar has been one of the most unique and inspiring artists to emerge in the last several years. His uniquely tailored brand of electronic music is a rare thing nowadays. His organic sounds and distinctive rhythms remain fresh with each successive release and his productions on Guy J's Lost & Found imprint were revered as some of 2013's most intriguing offerings.

Navar's debut EP for microCastle is entitled 'Moments In Life' and it comes with remixes from 16 Bit Lolitas and Chaim. The title track on the EP finds Navar showcasing one of the most exquisite productions of his career. 'Moments In Life' is a true musical epic and one of this year's most poignant electronic music creations. From its cavernous underbelly of warm bass swells to its sleek synth soundscapes and invigorating conclusion it's a production that is emotionally stimulating at every turn.

The lone remix of 'Moments In Life' is provided by 16 Bit Lolitas who are returning to the label for their fourth appearance. It's been one of the best years on record for the storied Dutch duo. With 'Deep In My Soul' getting showcased by Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1 and the 'Beat Organ' EP reaching #1 on Beatport 16 Bit Lolitas can do no wrong at the moment. Their 'Personal Space' EP from 2010 along with their remix of Andre Sobota from last year remain label favourites. We're thrilled to have them back on board and they've delivered an outstanding remix of 'Moments In Life'. With one of the most hook heavy grooves in recent memory the Dutch duo have reworked the piece perfectly for the dance floor. Filled with big bulging bass stabs along with complementary tones and a emotionally moving vibe it will certainly be one of 16 Bit Lolitas most sought after remixes this year.

The companion piece 'Jereko' proves to be a great complement to 'Moments In Life'. Navar's subtle riffs, dubby grooves and buzzing atmospherics make for immediate impact on the dance floor.

The lone remix of 'Jereko' is provided by Chaim who is making his microCastle debut here. Residing in the music hotbed of Berlin the Israeli native has long been one of electronic music's most fascinating producers. His work for Rumors and Visionquest have yielded some of this year's biggest underground records and his classic releases on BPitch control have stood the test of time remarkably well. We're thrilled to welcome him to microCastle and his interpretation of 'Jereko' closes the release out on a strong note. Chaim's organic textures and deep rhythms carry a unique sonic scope and they've resulted in a radically reinvented vision of 'Jereko'. It's contemporary hypnotic drive, indistinct psychedelia and apex of bell clusters make for a captivating remodel; one that you're bound to be hearing a lot in the coming months.

        Release Date: 10 November 2014

        06. Lonya & Mike Griego - Acid Culture (Roger Martinez Remix) [Perspectives Digital | PSDI030]

The 30th release on Darin Epsilon's Perspectives Digital finds the label presenting a brand new collaborative project. Lonya and Mike Griego are both quite accomplished in their respective production careers. 2014 appearances on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat Music have been highlights and the end result of their first studio effort 'Acid Culture' looks to be one of this year's most intriguing singles.

A dramatic intro sets the stage with a punchy groove, vivid vocal gates, and a nice complement of trippy electronics. As the hallucinatory vibes form a well-carved foundation, crisp percussion and strong hypnotic tempos lead the track into its second act. Here a more distinct theme is unleashed with enticing tones and phasing rhythms uniting for strong hedonic hooks. It results in a tasteful and sonically satisfying production from Lonya and Mike Griego that you're bound to be hearing a lot in the coming months.

The first remix of 'Acid Culture' is supplied by Roger Martinez who is returning to Perspectives for his second appearance. The Dutch producer's 'My World' single was a standout on the label earlier this year and additional offerings on Sudbeat and GEM Records have been equally enticing. For his 'Acid Culture' interpretation, Roger has given the piece his own unique twist. Reshaped elements from the original have been transformed into highly infectious, rhythmic hooks, and the tough, techy framework is undeniably groovy. Another meticulously produced piece of music from Roger that is sure to be one of his most sought after remix productions this year.

The second and final remix is provided by Tim Penner who is making his first appearance on Perspectives. A regular in the sets of Hernan Cattaneo, the Canadian producer has had a strong year production-wise with appearances on Sudbeat and Movement Recordings. Also quite accomplished as a DJ, Tim has shared the stage with Eric Prydz, Guy J, Henry Saiz and many other top international talents. For his 'Acid Culture' interpretation, Tim has provided a techno inspired rendition that complements the original very well. Fuelled by a percussive groove, ultrasonic design, and tension-filled main break, this is a production that's sure to be thrilling for the peak-time slots.

It rounds out another on-the-money release for Perspectives Digital in fine style.

        Release Date: 24 November 2014

        07. Dale Middleton - Tord [EJ Underground | EJU092]

Following the release of a string of successful remixes and originals throughout the summer on Moonchild, Stripped Recordings, Clinique Recordings and Sudbeat Music, Dale Middleton ushers us into the Autumn with his latest project ‘Tord.’ Cementing his credentials within the underground house scene early on in his career, with his first run of releases eagerly snapped up by quality electronic music labels such as Lowbit, Outside the Box, Sound Avenue & Mirabilis Records, Dale’s music has already received prominent acclaim within the industry.

Delivering a fusion of interpretations on the deeper, underground sounds of house and techno; Dale’s new project ‘Tord’ features a stunning original production from the man himself, accompanied by chopped-up re-imaginings from Chloe Fontaine, Dave Seaman, Lee Williams and D-Formation. With remix duties supplied by some of the scene’s most established and well-respected names, you already know this one is going to go off!

Dale’s original cut of ‘Tord' is smooth as butter, flowing along on a mellow vibe whilst simultaneously maintaining a propulsive momentum. The use of ticking drum work and bubbling melodics give the track a warm and positive atmosphere throughout. Almost eight minutes in total, it is a very progressive tune that leaves a lot of space for his remixers to work with.

        Release Date: 01 November 2014

        08. Livio & Roby - Ananda (Luca Bacchetti Endless Remix) [VIVa MUSiC | VIVA112]

VIVa MUSiC is proud to present the Ananda EP from Livio & Roby. First released in 2007, Livio & Robys VIVa MUSiC debut Ananda/Drumatik [VIVA005] was met with critical acclaim from Mixmag and widespread support from the scene.
