I don't think I will waste my time watching the above videos, as I am fairly convinced by a high scientific consensus on the overall impacts of climate change for many a years. But in the current context of having the G20 in Australia, an important point that had raised was as we are focusing on increasing productivity and economic activity, post GFC there should be an agenda for sourcing an increasing demand of power/resources, this is a point that keeps getting missed especially focusing on developing nations, not on the developed nations.

I see their point though, they keep raising the GDP target and will blame their lack of reform (Uni privatisation, GP, pensions, welfare) will be something they can shift the blame on. I really don't know how much they are influenced by an American style parliament.
