I remember him playing that track at the end of the Tyrant night at Cream in Ibiza. It didn't fit with the tracks he played the rest of the night. Still an ace track though.

I was at this night, remember him playing Fata Morgana - Bug Bear and Blade Nebula, great stuff. I was at Space a couple of days later where he played Humate's 98' Remix of 3.1 twice and it blew my tiny little mind.

Regarding the Cream mix, if anyone has the two Dark Matter releases on Koncept from 1998, one of them may well be track 22. I know I had that track at one point, the production seems super familar.

Makes you wonder how many other mixes there are out there, I know Fabric used to record absolutely everything when they first opened for years after - be a truck load of Tyrant night mixes to listen to there..

Each to their own and everything but I find Sasha, post Ableton and beyond, completely tepid; the music he plays now seems buffed to a high sheen and in gaining 'perfection' it's just lost that certain something..

Couldn't agree more. The so called magic has long gone and so has the enthusiasm. Fair do's my job would be boring after that long too.

Years ago going to see Sasha was something special. These days that's not the case. When I have seen him recently, it's ok but I'm never blown away.

Id say hes been on a downward spiral since he started messing about with Ableton, even though hes back to using CDJ's now his sets just dont have the same feeling to them anymore
