Could not agree with you any more. Sasha was once the king of the underground but like mentioned before the awe factor has long been gone.

It's laughable hearing how Sasha's doesn't have it anymore.

No shit, he's been doing this for 30 years, dude's close to 50 years old. What 90s progressive house/trance DJ still "has it"? Their primes are all long gone. At least he's not as awful as John Digweed currently is.

Actually I have loved the Jimmy Van M sets that have been released in the last year. There is good music out there, Sasha just doesn't play it.

I could say from end 2012 till now,
we are having a lot of good music
from the last couple of years.

Awful's too strong of a word, how about mediocre? I dunno, I just prefer Sasha's sets NOW over Digweed's. Digweed just seems to play the same type of big-room tech house that doesn't seem to go anywhere. Whatever.

I LOVE old Sasha sets, amazing stuff. GU San Fran is just one gleaming example of Sasha at his peak. I have to agree with most here that after around 2004 he just kinda wasnt as consistent as he once was. Involver 2 was a good mix and he has had a couple live sets and Essential Mixes that were top notch. Id have to say overall I am not excited about anything new from Sasha and find his sets rather boring now. His old sets however are incredible to listen to.

Like someone said earlier, Nick and Hernan had some good sets the last couple year. Digweed and other big names too. The good tracks are out there, just not as many in Sasha's box as there used to be.

I can't get enough of this set, I'm listening to it over and over, sets like this are the reason why I loved Sasha so much.
