★ Quality Melodic-techno but Electronica Pearls Orchestral-Influenced Aimed on Deep but Melodic DJ sets !
Nurtured by techno music since his teens, Quentin aka Axom soon started attending rave parties where he initially got into djing. His musical style then slowly drifted to an ever more instrumental selection and he naturally came to addressing club audiences. He only really stepped up to production in 2012, under the influence of such artists as Worakls, Microtrauma or Solee and soon delivered his first EP, Other Side on Noisebuilders label Junky Robot, as well as a remix on the well-known Ukrainian label Adro-Calotte records. Then followed by a series of intense venues alongside with such big names like Stereoclip, Bakermat, Marika Rossa, Inflagranti or Plaisir de France. Axom has developed his very own style, a driven techno impregnated with languid highs and a deep sense of melody.
Debuting within the Progrezo Records family, Axom features a quality two-tracks ep as Leitmotiv is showing an authentic sound between well crafted Electronica atmospheres and solid deep-tech beats.
The jewel-case is opened with some children voices at the background that remind us kind of of Nicolas Jaar stuff, but Axom drives the plane to a different dimension where long bass-lines over key kick hits bring together mysticism and magic on the fly. Sweet strings and delicate pads add strength enough to the journey that is played by celestial attitude style at most.
On the flip side the French rising producer delivers a more moderate-tempo pearl as Opera Als is. Here Axom proves himself as one of the notorious producers within the trippy but futurist melodic-techno neo-trance stage to put an eye on. Strong bass-lines built over unstoppable deep-tech beats are surrounded by majestic and hypnotic synths to make it an emotional and memorable tool in the late night.
