I've repaired a few of them. The Nokia phones are near indestructable, I know that is odd after saying I've repaired a few.
When I look at different phones it really depends on what operating system you want to use or what you are using the phone for.
For example, if you really like iOS, stick with the iPhone, if you like Android, Android phones and so on.
I do know that the Nokia phones (the 1020, 920, 928, etc.) have great cameras so if you are looking for a phone with a great camera, go for one of those.

I have a Nokia but it doesn't run Windows, so technically it isn't a Lumia.

Most of their top models are nice. I would go for the 930 .. takes good photos and it seems like a good kit overall.

I have a Nokia Lumia 630 running Windows. I like it. I normally use Samsung phones but I got a steal of a deal on this phone with a new carrier.
