I got pics and video. But I will upload them in the morning. I need to smoke this nice phat joint and just close my eyes and replay the amazingness in my head.

It was recently revealed that the opening sequence for Spectre is to be the biggest ever.
oh wow, not sure what could be bigger than the Skyfall's opening, but we'll see

the wooden cabin which is shown in the 2nd scene serves really good cake when its not scene for a movie shooting

Re: First Behind the Scenes - SPECTRE

Spectre played out like a second attempt at what Quantum of Solace was trying to do. Except, they chose to go back to the older Bond formula before Craig came on board (with some restraint, to its credit) - so the beats of past Bond films are pretty obvious. What's kind of disappointing is that they don't really capitalize on making good use of Christophe Waltz as the bad guy - he's not really given much to do other than go back to the silly Bond trope of figuring out ridiculously ornate ways to try to kill Bond. Meanwhile Dave Bautista (ex WWE wrestler/Drax the Destroyer from Guardians of the Galaxy) is given the physical heavy henchman role and makes a memorable appearance. It's a bit of a letdown after Skyfall, as they make the nemesis pretty obvious from the start and it didn't really offer too much of a twist or offer any kind of suspense.

But, I do admire that they're tying all the other Bond films that Craig was involved with together, as well as paying some respects and nods to the earlier era Bond films such as From Russia With Love, You Only Live Twice, The Spy Who Loved Me and even On Her Majesty's Secret Service. I really hope that Craig does one last Bond film, as they have a great opportunity to end his run with a bang, rather than with a bit of a dissatisfying ending that this one offers.

It's not a great Bond film, but it's decent enough to get a pass without being too ridiculous when you look back on it. Bond by the numbers, but done well, without any innovation, which made the reboot Craig era so great.

saw this last night. enjoyable overall, but there are some scenes that are a bit ridiculous... specially how love/sex scenes are thrown in the middle of action scenes, just a bit too much

from all the ones Mendes directed, this one is not definitely the best

also saw this last night, I enjoyed it, I did think it was 20 minutes too long... but it was a good movie and visually more stunning than skyfall I thought... maybe slightly less exciting than skyfall but I it was really good and worth seeing in the theater imo. Being a photographer I am always looking for cool frames and this film was full of them, just really incredible cinematography right from the start.

It was fun while it lasted...
