Hernan Cattaneo weekender Amsterdam (26-27 April 2015)

On April the 26th Hernan Cattaneo will give a 6 hour set at beachclub Woodstock (near Amsterdam). It's going to be a lovely day!!!

On April the 27th Kingsday will take place in the Netherlands. A lot of big events will be organized all around the country. There's a secret gig which is called King Ahoy. This event will take place on the Supperclub boat. It will start around 17:00 and will end around 23:00. So in summary this will be a wonderfull sunset cruise!!! It's organized by The Groovecollection and there are some 'rumors' that Hernan Cattaneo will perform a set b2b with Eelke Kleijn.

Saw both Guy J and Eelke Kleijn on the same night here in Melbourne. They were both good and unfortunately there were sound problems for both, but personally I would be hoping for a Guy J /Hernan Cattaneo B2B.

Whatever, you can't really go wrong with this line up. Have a wonderful time . !!

Epic weekend, and I have to say that Woodstock never disappoints.

This year it was earlier and there was fear of rain - but that held off and we even got a very nice sunset when the clouds parted briefly and the venue ended up as packed as usual for the maestro.

6 hours of amazing music that just flew by so quickly, luckily there was another 3 hours in Haarlem later on. Highlights were Dixon's beautiful 'Love Over Entropy' remix as HC set the groove earlier on then a breeder-esque track into The Baguio Track and Age Of Love late on, plus a new Sahar Z track, Cid Inc. 'Temazcal' [Sudbeat] and Epika

Then I have to say the Kings Day Boat the next day was a massive unexpected bonus - 3 hours of HC back to back with Guy J ... and myself and my friends were blown away at how good they sounded together. Guy J's ear for a melody alongside Hernan's groove worked perfectly for a boat.

                          Here's a piccy.

                          sigpicSimonR

This release was mastered direct from vinyl at the request of the DJ and as such features natural sound characteristics of this medium such as record surface noise.

You are going to have to give that emoticon a haircut. There are some terrific pics up on Hernan's facebook.

I am dying to hear Hernan and Guy play back to back. I imagine them exactly the way you describe.
