Re: Good times for music
I have purposely tried to listen to as much 'new' music as I can via Soundcloud and Spotify, and you know what, I find it all very mundane and boring at the moment. I have listened to the current in vogue DJs such as Dixon, Guy J, Maceo Plex and I just cannot see the hype around these guys?
We are older, we are living in a different era and we have to adapt.
I felt the same as you a couple of years ago,
till I found my place again, I hear a lot of good tracks and good
sets, specially hernan, there are many good things out there,
you just have to find the right direction.
I would have liked to be there at the bedrock party
with all those classics., I love the classics.
but thats is another reflection.Comment

Re: Good times for music
I'm spending more on Beatport than I ever did. If anything I am finding too much good music. It has changed some but that is what progressive music is all about.
Saw Guy J a couple of weeks ago and even with a shit sound system, I heard what the hype is all about !! Brilliantly beautiful music and then turns it to dancefloor music. The only better Dj as far as I am concerned is Hernan and every time I see him he just gets better. !! Actually that applies to both Guy and HernanOriginally posted by TheVrkit IS incredible isn't it??
STILL pumpin out great set after great set...never cheesed out, never sold out, never lost his touch..
Simply does not get any better than HernanComment
