    Examples of EDM styles

    Ok so I need your help guys. I'm trying to educate some friends on EDM. until recently they hated "techno," as the entire US calls all types of EDM. But lately I've been able to help them like it and understand it better. No I told them I'd show them some examples of the different styles, i.e. prog, deep house, tribal, breaks, trance, techno, etc.

    So now i'm looking for some very representative tracks of these styles or genres. Something that when you hear you can definitely say, "this is techno, or trance, and so on..."

    I'm looking for some god suggestions, and if you have links, even better...

      Refer them to a site like EDM Digital or Beatport, where you can listen to samples of tracks broken down by genres.
