Got there at 10.30, made it to the front (mosh pit) after being asked if I wanted ......Coke, Pills, Speed, or even a lady!
They come on and opened their set with Hey boy, Hey girl. Good long intro before the bass kicked in. Ive never seen some many speakers in my life, I have the ear damage to prove it.
They played Believe, Out of Control, etc. Atmosphere was wicked (better than Fabric last week) Then they stopped everything, and the Magic Numbers appeared on stage (they looked like rabbits in the headlights) - they looked so shocked as they are an indie band and all they could see was ravers! They sung Close you eyes, which was cool.
The thing that made it for me was, the fact that The Chems spent abit of money on the sound and lights/lazors. (back to the old skool)
It began in AFRICA K K K !
