once you do it, you're pretty much stuck, I would imagine. I had mine shaved for hernia surgery years ago, and the nubs drove me crazy for weeks after that. I've never done it again to avoid that discomfort, but I suspect if I had stayed with it, I'd still be doing it today.

Started off for hygienic reasons when I went to hot sweaty and sticky Africa, but just kept doing it. Smooth & shiny!
