Nick's been a prog boy at heart going on for 20 years now. For better or worse, that's his true love, and there's nothing necessarily futuristic about it (treading water more like). :X Sound Garden is where you'll get the variety.

Nick had a great period somewhere between 2001 and 2005 and then it was mostly trending, but I am still grateful for those 4-5 years of brilliance, and now just checking things from time to time

The period of 1999-2001 was the biggest for me. The Emixes from that era were loaded with the goods! The pixie prog got a little out of hand in the following years.

This one predictably plods through the first 25 mins or so, but then the groove and the atmosphere really opens up, proving that even in his less uninspired mixes, there are still gems to be found. Back to the plodding again 10 mins later, but the track is certainly hypnotizing and with the right state of mind totally intoxicating.

I enjoyed about half of it. With the gluttony of dance music about, it's not an easy task unearthing original material.
