We used to do parties like that back in Austin in '99/2000 in a little space called Movements Art Gallery. Big enough for about 250 people, but it was still a nice crowd with only 100. The music was just psytrance at the time. And also, considering the TABC and lack of liquor license in the place, it was more BYOB - but occasionally a patron would take care of some of the other guests.

A couple years later, we did a couple completely secretive parties in some little strip mall space. Middle of a relatively quiet neighborhood, houses within 30 feet of the place, and an absolutely kickin' party where nobody could see or hear (aside from the 24-7 convenience store next door, but they were invited). The cops driving by had no idea.

wow, thats old school... i remember going to austin for those types of parties and a lot of underground warehouse parties from college station. why was it that all the underground stuff between austin, college station and houston was all psytrance, hard trance? and better yet, why did i like it so much? fucking club 2010, Club E, hahaha.... man those were fun days.
Should I fuck you at that not until the ass, inject then tremendously hard bumschen and to the termination in the eyes yes?

Because, there were so few people that dug psytrance that we had no choice but to do it cheap & underground.

and better yet, why did i like it so much?
                Because those parties rawked.

When were you living in the area? If you ended up at any of the psytrance happenings before 2002, I was probably there too - I think the "circle" was only about 50-100 of us.

are you serious? look on the walls. but actually the main room is an apartment and in the other long one they took some down because art was damaged by accident a few parties back...but for over a year no art was damaged and you can only imagine what goes on with open bars til 7am!

but they're hilarious! right downtown, found a loophole in the denver city liquor laws and serve "legally" until the place clears out
