ive heard of those parties, but never been to one... i personally have been more excited about the rave scene starting to happen again... this summer, there have been a couple up in the mountains under the stars.. hella sweet.

Because, there were so few people that dug psytrance that we had no choice but to do it cheap & underground.

When were you living in the area? If you ended up at any of the psytrance happenings before 2002, I was probably there too - I think the "circle" was only about 50-100 of us.

i partied in austin alot around 2000-2002... there were lots of warehouse parties that i went to, some were really crowded, tons of fun and others were so fucking sketchy in fucking shit parts of austin. seems like everything really started dying at the beginning of school in sep 2001 though places started shutting down and getting busted, so i just started getting drunk (amongst other things) at A&M instead of driving a couple hours to austin. it sure was fun though. if i knew then what i knew now about dj'ing, i'd be throwin some prog to those psytrance biatches
