I love it. I've loved all of Nick mixes about the same, but this one is head and shoulders above them all. Top 3 GUs IMO.

I hope this is not his last GU although it sounds like it is.
Also, this is a very international TL. producers from Russia, turkey, Grrece, Hungary, etc.

            Re: Nick Warren GU028

i didnt perticuarly like this. very soft and fluffy. i havent listened to trance in years now, this sounds like its behind on the times. gu's at one point, were way ahead of there time. sasha and or digweeds would be prime examples.

whatever happend to the nubreed and 24/7 series? the past however many gu's have been nothing short of utter disapointments. i was always under the impression that gu was the forefront of innovation and musical quality. my opinion has radically changed from GU20-28. it would be nice to hear dj's who are constantly changing there sound to keep an innovative edge to there music.

i would love to see gu not take the obvious route for the next installment, and bring in someone new. as much as i'd love to hear another lavelle mix, it's time to move on.

Nick Warren is a class act, his last GU was grounbreaking, this is just as good, standout tracks for me are Pop Shuvit and Derek Howell.

As per usual wth Nick Warren his tracklisiting and programming is top notch, its a pity this will be his last Global Underground mix.

Love the inclusion of Hardfloor, what a tune, still sounds fresh after all these years.

                  Respect to Nick Warren

                          Re: Nick Warren GU028

in our music the envelope is pushed harder than any other ... at one point we thought that warren was innovative he did whatever it was that he was doing.

WE want new and innovative. Embrace the dj because above all else the dj is the way we get this great music.

Warren has never disapointed and has always done his thing. So many innovations have taken place maybe Warren's return to the classic is being innovative by playing QUALITY music that we're overlooking in this witch hunt.

I think GU is finally starting to get it right again with Aftergours 2, Howells, Warren and Sasha's Fundacion as their latest releases. That's quality music. 20 to 28 bad hell no ... 20- Singapore was amazing by far one of my fav's, 22 Seaman was off the hook, 24 was a timeless classic ...
that leaves the Lavelle and Deep Dish releases that weren't that bad ... lets not forget the crises the GU dodged during this period ...

i think the stage has been set and lets see what they do next ...

Why does it always have to be about being "groundbreaking??" What about making good music, whether it's "groundbreaking" or not??
