damn son, are you serious? that's awesome, wish I still had my NES/SNES. I played the hell out of mario kart. I remember renting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at Blockbuster, it was so cool when it first came out.

Bubble Bobble was later, never had the chance to play it back when i was a lil one =p

re: my collection.. i kept all of my original SNES/NES games... then purchased about 20 titles last year, most with manuals (anal completist here). I will post a pic when i have a chance.

and yes, mario 3 was the best, it was almost like playing a different operating system, it was really a lot higher quality than most games. Unless someone can give examples of games that are of the same or better graphics quality as SM3?

never thought about graphics quality tbh... for me it was about the playability and that you could play it for hours... and hours... and you found new stuff every single time.

True, that too, but all of those details make Mario 3 superior to most of the older games imo. It was less pixelated more smooth edges you know?

I was also 8. and I'm not saying I necessarily consciously noticed that either Krystyan, but looking back I am saying there was a difference . At any rate, dope game. Much more advanced than say Excite Bike .
