aiff? not familiar with that format? what does it have over 320kbps mp3?

about 1091 kbps. aiff is 1411kbps. It is the apple version of wav , but better because it carries metadata. Over simplification here.

so you choose to carry 2 devices. What I'm trying to say is you can have access to all you music and 1 less device. you dont even have to load music on your phone to do this.

I'd say the only arguement to carry an ipod is over file format, which i understand, though i dont know much about the format as far as quality is concerned.

this is probably my biggest complaint about google play, i think they transcode everything into 256 or 320 mps i think no matter if it was a flac file or not. not sure if they even take flac.
