    mercurynation C++ error

    hi guys, everytime i open mercurynation in Internet Explorer, i get an alert box saying C++ Error, needs Virtual Drive for iexloprer.exe or something like that. This didn't just happen once and not just today, its happened for the last 2 weeks. The worst thing about the bug is that it closes all my other windows when i click 'ok' which is the only option button.

    Just curious if any of you are having the same problem or if theres anything that can be done.

    thanks

      that is a local error - i.e. an error with your browser. C++ has nothing to do with MN, not even a related error.... is it only when you load MN or when you fire up the browser ??

      In my 3 years, this is the first time I have seen / heard of a C++ error related to the site

      I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me

            spyware cleaner? antivirus stuff? it might be what you need. I don't think there is a possibility of a c++ error while browsing anything...

              do you have any C++ development software installed on your computer?

                Re: mercurynation C++ error

                i installed SuperAdBlocker 2 weeks ago. but i don't know why it only affected MN.

                here's what i do -

                1. i type the address of mercurynation address in internet explorer and hit return

                2. i jump between the forums and all of a sudden a Virtual C++ alert box pops up giving me the option of 'OK'

                3. I click OK and it closes everything.

                only happens when with mercurynation website. everything else works fine.

                    It is linking into your compiler for some strange reason. There is an auto-debug option with MS development studio. Look in there and you should be able to disable it. or get an Apple.

                      unfortunatly that doesn't solve the problem...coz then i get the windows error message asking me to End Task then the windows pop up box 'send or don't send'...

                        well is has to do with Dev Studio and IE. have you tried Firefox before or do you have another browser we can try?
