Actually my friend it`s the called Union Flag, the Union Jack can only be flown on a ship if my memory is correct. You may know better tho.
mjwebhosting you know it makes sense

I just found this, looks like we are both correct..

It is often stated that the Union Flag should only be described as the Union Jack when flown in the bows of a warship, but this is a relatively recent idea. From early in its life the Admiralty itself frequently referred to the flag as the Union Jack, whatever its use, and in 1902 an Admiralty Circular announced that Their Lordships had decided that either name could be used officially. Such use was given Parliamentary approval in 1908 when it was stated that "the Union Jack should be regarded as the National flag".

Not trying to one up you by any means mate. You just brought up an intersting point, and I was curious to find out.

I won't be back until next Tuesday, so if Get Carter is the correct answer, I would appreciate of someone else posts a new cap for me

You know, if you take the bottom right star and the two stripes next to it of Old Glory, it's the Texas flag.

You can't have manslaughter without laughter.

"Son," he said without preamble, "never trust a man who doesn't drink because he's probably a self-righteous sort, a man who thinks he knows right from wrong all the time. Some of them are good men, but in the name of goodness, they cause most of the suffering in the world. They're the judges, the meddlers. And, son, never trust a man who drinks but refuses to get drunk. They're usually afraid of something deep down inside, either that they're a coward or a fool or mean and violent. You can't trust a man who's afraid of himself. But sometimes, son, you can trust a man who occasionally kneels before a toilet. The chances are that he is learning something about humility and his natural human foolishness, about how to survive himself. It's damned hard for a man to take himself too seriously when he's heaving his guts into a dirty toilet bowl."

It`s funny you should say that but when it comes to supporting our local neighbhours us English do it every time. But when we need the support (euro 2004 for instance) of the Scots or the Welsh, well....NOT A CHANCE. (bar a few exceptions) Anyway this is boardering on political so I`ll sftu!

                          I like the Jack tho.
                          Supporting the Scots

that is a joke right? no offence MJ but where, when and with what has the english ever supported the scots? unless of course you're refering to things like the poll tax

But as you said this is boardering on political and maybe i should just stfu too
