We aren’t sure what it about Germany that allows the country to produce such a high volume of quality electronic music but there surely must be something to it. The air? The water? Well, we can neither confirm or deny any theory regarding why the area is such a hotbed of creativity for electronica but rather revel in Germanic cool. This weeks Podcast sees us head to back to the Fatherland as eclectic duo Monkey Safari serve up an hour long set of selections for your listening pleasure. Having really hit their stride in the studio, with their many fun and scrupulously produced records earning them a nice little niche within the electronic music environs, the pairing have now set their sights on Ibiza, landing on the White Isle to take over Sankeys for Hommage alongside compatriots Super Flu May 27th, before hosting a hotly anticipated boat party the day after on the 28th May. With plenty of other exciting developments in the pipeline for 2015 and beyond, the next 12 months look set to be the most exciting of the Monkey’s career.
