                        THE INTRODUCTION:

                        August 28, 2000
                        Nakul tell?s me that S&D spin every last Friday of the month at Twilo and the next best time to catch them live would be Aug 28, 2000. Accordingly, I plan out my trip to the city, set out the appropriate funding for a nutty weekend and take off directly from work on Friday evening at about 6:30 pm from Worcester (MA) for NYC in my rickety old 1989 model Nissan Maxima (great automobile - but that?s a different story all together).

                        I reached Nakul?s apartment (on the corner of 30th and 3rd - fyi to all the stalkers, he doesn?t live there anymore) at about 8:30 p.m. and it was the only time during my 2 entire years of weekly trips to the city that I found a parking right outside his f**kin apartment door. Head up to his place and there?s already a pre-party in full swing. Having warmed up with a few beers and meeting a whole bunch of people from the ephobe gang, we set out in a cabbie to our destination.
