The second instalment of Yannick Labbe's 'Seilertracks' - a heady brew of hypnotic house with a daring, experimental edge - maintains the high standards set by its outstanding predecessor.

                  Release Date: 15 June 2015

                  04. Lehar - Flora [Connaisseur Recordings | CNS073]

The rise of Lehar continues. Together with his brothers in mind Musumeci and Olderic, he has recently formed a highly visible team closely connected to Connaisseur and reinforced by their new weekly radio-show "The Sound Of Connaisseur“ on Ibiza Global Radio. Now it is time for new music.

After his tremendous debut EP "Sargas“ and his uber-remix for Of Norway feat. Linnea Dale’s "Spirit Lights“, he presents his next strike with the 4-tracker "Flora & Zephyr“. Named after the mythological love couple Flora, the Sabine-derive goddess of fowers and of the season of spring and her husband Zephyr, son of the titans Astraios und Eos, Lehar wanted to transport this passion- and romantic-laden story into his new release.

With the beatless intro track "In Ipnosi“ Lehar kicks off the release. A wonderful hypnotic affair with strong synths and shimmering percussions.

Next up is the majestic "Zephyr", a real titan of a track, with a strong groove and demanding chords. It has a cleansing and meditational impact, letting you dream while triggering an inner and outer movement.

On the fip-side, with "Horizon“ Lehar presents a collaboration with Musumeci, who just got ennobled as "The future of Italian House Music“ by Kristian from Âme for his other project combo "Human Machine“. From the beginning you can make out Musumeci’s infuence on this track, as his music never overladen. It has a clear approach with a strong recognition value, which may be the secret to his success. Each element of "Horizon“ remains in your mind after having listened to it. A guarantor for this summer, for sure.

The closing title of this EP is "Flora", a timeless and alluring cut with a dub-techno approach. Its subtle power comes from its deepness. It is simple but full of universal brilliancy.

                  05. Mathame - Amen (Matthias Meyer Regrooved Mix) [Souvenir Music | Souvenir 071]

Mathame is a portmanteau composed of two central factors - brothers to be precise - Amedeo and Matteo Giovanelli, who together form the Italian production duo.

For the past two years the pair have joined forces as Mathame, whose conceptual core is research. This research, for now, centres around religious and medieval iconography. An Icon is a flat panel painting depicting Jesus Christ, Mary, saints and/or angels which can be cast in metal, carved in stone, embroidered on cloth, painted on wood, done in mosaic or fresco work, printed on paper or metal, or multiple other mediums. The duos chosen medium? Music.

They work with the same artistic zeal as the monks manufactured Icons, refining the methods and procedures particular to the trade, and maps those approaches on to their music.

As Western civilization faces destabilization within the realms of politics and social culture, deep reflection must come from within those pillars of what we take for granted. The composition of tracks comes after a process involving first the body and matter. They use only hardware - a self-built modular synthesizer (called AERIAL) - to produce and record each track. Everything is finalized onto tapes to maintain the analogue chain, then transferred to digital DAW only to share with you.

Their brand new work, Evangea EP, is yet another attempt to produce one of these "sonic icons". Their work here is not a devotional-religious craft, but a search within one of the central pillars of Western culture, a search within themselves, and ultimately a search within itself, which you are humbly invited to discover.

                  Release Date: 26 June 2015

                  06. Art Department - Walls (Chaim Remix) [No.19 Music | NO19061]

The latest remix package of Art Departments Natural Selection album, sees production heavyweights DJ Tennis and Chaim rework the sublime Walls. Hot on the heels of the recent Guy Gerber and &ME remixes, comes this latest mix package.

It kicks off with Berlin based, Italian production heavyweight and Life & Death records boss DJ Tennis at the controls. He strips back Walls to its component parts and reimagines it as a stirring and emotive slice of underground house music that marries broken percussion, filtered arpeggios and moving pads to great effect. Defying any real genre classification this is simply superb electronic music and climaxes with a two minute beatless outro that is nothing short of spine tingling.

The second of the two mixes comes courtesy of Tel Aviv, techno stalwart Chaim who wraps up the record in a warm cocoon of hypnotic drums and synths, and peppers it with tight edits of Kennys distinctive vocals. A perfectly deep, late night offering for any discerning dancefloor, the mix shows why this producer has been so vital to labels like Bpitch Control, Visionquest & Supplement Facts over the years.

                  Release Date: 08 June 2015

                  07. Slam - Ghosts Of Cirklon (Len Faki Remix) [Soma Records | SOMA425D]

Slam turn to long time friend and collaborator, Len Faki, to head up the third part in the series of remixes of their album Reverse Proceed and he turns in 2 fantastic versions amalgamating two of his top picks from the LP. Slam also feature in this package with a stripped back dub version of Ghosts of Detroit.

Working Cirklon Bells & Ghosts Of Detroit together to create Ghosts of Cirklon, Faki drops an epic, tripped out monster of a remix. Merging the lush pad sounds of Cirklon atop the bouncing bass line and aquatic sequence of Ghosts, Faki then adds a fantastic drum work out, complete with a fairly punishing snare, to deliver a real power house version of the two standout tracks from Slam's album.

In what feels like a natural progression from the opening track, Faki's version of Ghosts Of Detroit keeps a similar pace whilst the original synth hook now develops into a more pulsing, resonating dub variant.

Slam offer up there own dub version of Ghosts Of Detroit to close out the EP. The duo delve deep with this rendering of the project as subtle percussive elements are moulded and shaped around heavy sub bass and gaseous like pads that float gently beneath swathes of reverb soaked synth hits.

                  Release Date: 27 April 2015

                  08. Roland Klinkenberg - Nuages (Construct LP) [Green | GR107LP]

Construct is a blissful 12-track LP which serves as a culmination of all the sounds that Roland Klinkenberg has explored over his highly-experimental and wonderfully innovative musical career to date.

Taking influence from music, art and culture from across the globe. Roland Klinkenberg’s organic approach to the creative process is a superbly unique one. Over his 25-year musical journey, Klinkenberg has a production catalogue that translates to more than over one hundred releases on leading labels including the likes of Global Underground, Perfecto, and Fresh Food. Whilst being ever focused on the present yet drawing influences from his rich musical past, Roland Klinkenberg is proud to announce his latest LP entitled ‘Contstruct’ on Joris Voorn and Edwin Oosterwal's Green.

A true classically trained musician, Roland Klinkenberg musical path begun in his younger years playing Piano, Cello and Guitar. Never satisfied with just the fundamentals of an instrument, he became instantly fascinated by Guitar FX pedals and sampling sounds that threw him into the realm of electronic music and production.

25 years later, ‘Construct’ is the culmination of all the sounds that Roland Klinkenberg has explored to date. Consistency in creating innovative projects is something that he has grown very accustomed to. In this new LP, he eloquently marries techno with a deeper dub sound. A style that Klinkenberg has recently gained a fascination with.

‘Construct’ delves deeper into a new realm of exploration of techno music. Tracks like ‘Departures’ capture the essence of Klinkenberg’s techno dub creation, crisp hi hats and 808 kick drum create a perfect throw back to an old school Chicago esque house sound. ‘Nuages’ further expands on this style yet adding a duskier baseline making these productions perfect dance floor productions.

Experimentation is a quality that Klinkenberg is so rightfully paired with. The twelve tracks on this LP each possess a varying style and sub-genre of electronic music. ‘L'esprit de l'escalier’ possesses a delicately crafted synth melody, an almost acoustic guitar sounding riff, a throwback to his musical roots.

Right from the off ‘Construct’ opens the door to the listener into the world of Roland Klikenberg’s musical spectrum. Productions such as ‘Together’ and ‘Musicalife’ captivate a warmer more soulful element for the album.

Whether Roland Klinkenberg’s sounds are portrayed through driving percussion, eloquent synth arrangements or whispering vocal samples, ‘Construct’ provides a listening experience like no other.

Construct is scheduled for release on June 22 on Joris Voorn and Edin Oosterwal's Green Label.

                  Release Date: 22 June 2015

                  09. Winter Sun - Veil Over World (Words For Snow EP) [Stem Records | STR010]

Stem Records returns with a new EP from Manchester’s Winter Son this July, comprising two original tracks and remixes from Germany’s Baal and Neil Flynn.

Manchester’s Winter Son has been releasing material under this guise since 2013, most notably alongside fellow Mancunian Jozef K which has seen him grace labels such as Sasha’s Last Night On Earth, Let’s Play House and the legendary Skint imprint. Here we see Winter Son join the roster of Stem Records, a label launched out of Manchester and home to material from Legowelt, Lake People and Mind Against.

Opening up the EP is ‘Polar Vanquish’ which sees Winter Son deliver a haunting slice of Techno fuelled by bubbling arpeggio bass tones, expansive atmospherics and vacillating drum sounds. ‘Veil Over World’ follows and retains a similar murky and ethereal feel with snaking bell-chime melodies, dubby stab echoes and rumbling sub tones.

On the flip side we see two remixes offered up, the first of which comes from Musica Autonomica’s Baal who rework ‘Polar Vanquish’ into a smoothly flowing, energetic composition led by drawn out bass tones, unfaltering stab sequences and an insistent rhythmic drive. Neil Flynn’s take on ‘Veil Over World’ then shapes things up on a stripped and hypnotic tip to complete the package.
