Pete Tong / Paul Oakenfold / Jon Carter – Essential Mix 4
http://www.discogs.com/Pete-Tong-Pau.../master/213026
Awful series. But here you have what may be Oakenfold''s best commercially released mix. It opens with Sasha's Arkham Asylum and everything is in the right place.
I'd really like to hear what the Jon Carter mix would have to offer - seeing Monkey Mafia on the tracklisting leads me to believe it could be promising, seeing at it would be around the time that Big Beat was blowing up huge.Score so far: Owned ZoverTard 8 times - twice in one week! Twice more in same weekend.
More than six months later - he's still pissed LOL - check the last visitor - guess who the last visitor is on my profile page.

Re: Half forgotten compilations that are actually pretty good
I found Seb Fontaine's Prototype series for Global Underground to feel like it was really reigned in. But with his work with Perfecto - it really gave him the ability to produce the same kind of excitement he'd bring to a club or gig - kicking out huge bangers and keeping the party moving and busy. This, Type 02 and Perfecto Presents comp he did were awesome.Score so far: Owned ZoverTard 8 times - twice in one week! Twice more in same weekend.

Peter Kruder - Private Collection: CLASSICS FROM MY LIVING ROOM AND BEDROOM - YouTube
The initial idea for this compilation came after I played a series of concerts that were called "The Listening Sessions". Bringing people into great sounding venues with an amazing sound system and have them sit down and just listen to music for two hours. A rare feat these days as most people just don't take the time to sit down and listen to music without any distractions."
It was fun while it lasted...Comment
