It's at this time that I generally mention The Silk Mix by Dave Seaman. It was part of the Renaissance Series and was a promotional mix given out at Renaissance nights. Quite rare apparently.

I really enjoyed this one back in those times. It�s a very good mix/comp of techno and trance. I loved the buildup of the set and the melodic tunes in there (it ends up with some cheesee tracks, too....).
