Re: Half forgotten compilations that are actually pretty good
Woolford is still churning out great stuff, a lot of it coming under his alias Special Request.

Baldelli & Dionigi – "Cosmic Disco?!" Cosmic Rock!!!"
Marco Dionigi recreates Daniele Baldelli's legendary Cosmic Disco sets (on Eskimo). Worth a listen.
Prins Thomas – Cosmo Galactic Prism
It features a track by Hawkwind, 'nough said.
Computer Incarnations For World Peace II
http://www.discogs.com/Various-Computer-Incarnations-For-World-Peace-II/release/1281792
Early Nu Disco compilation. Nick Warren included a few tracks from this comp in his first Cosmic Disco mix.
JonSaTrinxa – Balearic Beach Session
More Nu Disco, City Reverb, Coyote, Antena and more.
Paul Woolford & Alfredo – We Love Space 08
Woolford (where is he now?) and the Original One, DJ Alfredo.
Balearic Beats - The Album Vol 1
The one that started it all! Rare and pricey.Leave a comment:

just recently grabbed a cd copy - all new, lucky meprobably my fave of the annual Cocoon mixes. so much energy in there (peak time techno up to track 15), soundclips from the parties (I really like them being used as interludes between tracks) and so nicely put together (Hawtin?

2. Supertiel - Reinhard Voigt
3. Baile Conmigo - Tony Rohr

5. Pontape - Renato Cohen
6. Play Back Pt.3 - Session 1 - DJ Shufflemaster
7. Step Back (Smith & Selway RMX) - Slam
8. Voices And Atmosphere From Outside Of Amnesia During The Night And At The Guest Line - I'm Ready
9. Acid Storm - Technasia
10. Steel (Marco Carola RMX) - Sven Vath
11. 99.9 (John Selway RMX) - Koenig Cylinders
12. Sounds And Atmosphere From The Middle Of The Dancefloor On Top Of The Dance Platform! - Amnesia Surprise
13. Shari Vari (The Hacker & Vitalic Remix) - A Number Of Names
14. Blood Angels - John Starlight
15. Disco Rout - Legowelt
16. Voices, Sounds And General Chaos From Outside Amnesia At The End Of The Night And Driving To The Beach For The After-Hours - Let's Continue Our Mission

Re: Half forgotten compilations that are actually pretty good
Most of Hooj's stuff was pretty righteous - they really put out some quality comps.
Nice choice.Leave a comment:

Re: Half forgotten compilations that are actually pretty good
No not really. You may check facebook, soundcloud and mixcloud. There are some newer sets up there (2012, '13, '14). Lazy Sunday series (though I think you know about these already) The Timewriter | Mixcloud
I posted it here in 2012 but nothing since.....Leave a comment:

Other than the lazy Sunday's series The Timewriter does, not seen/heard a set from either of them in a while.Leave a comment:
