Yeah but I still find that a lot of techno tracks just sound so fresh yet they have been done 10 years ago maybe more and the stuff that is currently being released sounds like something from the future. As oppose to house and other sub-genres were everything that u can think off has been done already kindda what happened to rock.

i get what you're saying but there is a huge thing in music to get new music sounding like "industry standard" stuff which has kind of fucked up forward thinking creativity, its a shame really because there is technology to be explored and all people are doing with it is making there stuff sound like it was made 20 years ago and of course a lot of new synths are modelled on old hardware
