Accommodation in Miami

I will be off to Miami next month ( 1st time in US) staying their for 8 days then off to Brazil with me miss, was wondering if any of the US lads can give me some advise esp about accommodation, I've been on the net checking some hotels and hostels but if any one can recommends a good place and i might add not 2 expansive and we are backpack travailing and we need to save money ..but i don't want a dodgy place too

Also any advise about bars, clubs thing 2 look 2 will be much appreciated.

i think South Beach, but is their big diffr btw both ? ..sorry if i sound dum but still got alot to learn

No worries dude. Check out expedia.com, hotels.com, or any of the like. Also for clubs and hotels on South Beach check out: http://www.southbeachgroup.com/clubs.shtml

Hope this helps a little. There are plenty of people on here that probably have better suggestions, but hopefully that's a start.
