Well with 2 weeks to the release date of the album we decided to get the samples put up on the site so you can check some of the tunes out as we lead up to the release. although I understand the point of the cd and the full length unmixed tracks; fuck I wished this were mixed.

glad people are excited about this , looking forward to it as its the first album released by ourselves

to be honest we did really think about having this mixed by one of the artists involved or doing a double cd with 1 disc mixed and 1 disc unmixed but in the end we decided to do it unmixed - we couldnt release all the tracks on vinyl as it would be far too costly and not everyone can download the music so we felt it was better to have the CD the way it is to really showcase each artists work

a double CD release would have bumped the price up as well and we really wanted this to be seen as value for money as you'll see from the price - we tried to make it 10 tracks for ?10 so it would equate with download prices

at the minute its a hard call for labels to make - vinyl sales are down but no one buys cd singles and not everyone can download music so we hope we have nailed all three points here and kept everyone happy

I am sure just as many people would want the cd unmixed, so they can use the tracks they want in any mixes they do, as there will be calls to have the CD mixed but I hope in general people will really like the end product as it is

You think it will run about $10 US as well? Very, very interested in hearing these tracks. Some of the top producers going atm.

not sure what the US price will work out as yet but going on the exchange rate its probably about the $18 mark


will be some upfronts of the vinyl samplers out in City16 , Plastic and 3 Beat so keep your eyes peeled
