Good list that. I went to most of them on that list, played at four of them (The End, Media, Turnmills and The Cross) and was a resident at one of them (The Cross). Happy days for sure. I think of the list I'd pick Club UK and The Cross as my favourites. The Cross and The End were instrumental in pioneering the London tech-house and progressive scene; Club UK was just insane!

I'd also add The Conservatory in Derby (which is where Renaissance was before it moved to The Cross). Derby is my home town, and I remember vividly thinking 'why are so many people coming from around the country to a local club in my town'. It sunk in pretty quickly. Must have been around 1993-94.

Icon i could care less if it still existed - but it was our special shitty local club where I heard Sasha for the first time. And it did have a cool ambiance before it changed owners multiple times.
