03. Deep In Calm - Empty Inside (Taisuke Chiba Remix) [Electronic Tree | ETREE141]
Referring to our next release we must say at first that the mixture of talent comes this time in highest proportions. Marcin Piasecki aka Deep in Calm few years ago was widely regarded as a wonderkid of Polish electronic music scene and successively confirms his impressive skills in composing subtle, melodic music with an intricate plot.
It's great to have Marcin back at Electronic Tree with his third own EP, this time with remixes from not less amazing guys. Taisuke Chiba, a name that went straight to our notebook after mesmerizing release called "Himawari" on Hernan Cattaneo's Sudbeat label used his musical arsenal to create smooth progressive masterpiece.
Piotr Gajcy, known earlier as No Schematic and Harry Hearing developed his style from proggy and abstract areas to organic melodic techno and did it so well that the first signing under his real name took place on famous Traum Schallplatten desk. Piotr put on emphatic rhythm in his remix which is interrupted by some nasty techy stabs and distorted melody around. Second mix provided by Piotr is a slightly stripped dub.

bodytalk's 5th release comes courtesy of Light To Motion - a new production alias from none other than Chris Fortier, the name is taken from a track he produced 15 years ago.
The title track 'Express Yourself' is a bouncy club tune with an infectious bass-line and catchy vocal. Approved Electronic Device provides a masterful bomb Remix with sparse synth work and heavy beatdown drums. A.E.D. also provides a Dub Mix sans vocal. Finally, Detroit House legend Terrence Parker delivers 2 super funked out Mixes. A (Vinyl Only) Remix perfectly tailored for a jackin' party; a slightly stripped down Dub Mix closes out this fantastic digital release.

09. Booka Shade presents Yaruba - Black Cow (Original Mix) [Blaufield Music | BFMB002]
Berlin-based duo Booka Shade (Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier) have carved out a reputation as one of the most celebrated electronic acts to come out of Europe over the past two decades. Underneath the new moniker Booka Shade presents: Yaruba, the two producers have created an EP that appeals to their underground club roots.
They explain, YARUBA represents the dark, clubby side of Booka Shade. Black Cow is a track we´ve been playing with great response in our DJ sets since last September, and kept refining the sound design. Released under their own label imprint Blaufield, Yaruba: EP One will be available on Beatport from 18th May.
In 2002 Booka Shade formed the now legendary dance label Get Physical Music (together with M.A.N.D.Y., Thomas DJ T. Koch and Peter Hayo), a defining moment in both their history individually and in the electronic music scene. They have huge recognition with their innovative live shows, previously given the accolade of being one of Resident Advisor's Top 5 live acts in the world. 20 years, dozens of EPs and 6 albums later, Booka Shade have become synonymous with the spirit which drives electronic music and setting a precedent to which electronic music is still judged by today.
They continue to pioneer and redefine the boundaries of music in their Berlin studio whilst touring their live production internationally..
