      02. Javier Portilla & Sotela ft. Emalaine - Your Eyes (Juan Deminicis & Pablo Acenso Remix) [MoonChild Records | MOON31]

After several months since their last release, Moonchild Records returns with a whole new image and a fantastic pack from label owners Javier Portilla & Sotela.

The excellent track 'Your Eyes' features the amazing voice of canadian singer Emalaine. The Original is a big bass led gem, filthy edged, yet restrained, full of mystery and oozing coolness. The excellent vocals from Emalaine are sultry and lift the track to another level.

This superb journey is a melancholic winner for sure. 'King Unique' loved the track so much, after using it on his new DJ mix for Armada Music, he decided he needed to remix it himself! His mix is his debut on the label and to no surprise delivers a flawless remix. Taking us deeper than the Original, while retaining its key elements, this classy remake is seriously good. Clever vocal toning, meeting haunting emphatic details creating an emotional soundscape of the utmost quality.

And of that wasn't enough for you, the second remix comes from 'Juan Deminicis & Pablo Acenso', who are certainly no strangers to victorious productions. This impassioned wonder wraps you in its blanket of warmth, while its depth subtly meanders effortlessly creating a chasm of joy.

The release has been supported by big names as Sasha, Danny Tenaglia, Max Graham, Hernan Cattaneo, Jimmy Van M, Chris Fortier, Betoko, Henry Saiz, Nick Warren, Darin Epsilon, Cid Inc., Kassey Voorn, Paco Osuna, TILT, among others. Three superb versions of this vocal gem... Which is your favourite?

      Released by: MoonChild Records
      Release Date: 27 January 2015

      03. Erdi Irmak - This Time (David Calo Remix) [Yin Yang | Promo]

Cross-cultural sounds and influences are the calling cards of the Erdi Irmak, born in cosmopolitan Istanbul where Asia meets Europe across the vast Bosphorous River. Irmak is immersed in the sounds of his Turkish homeland, a combination of "psychedelic and chilled out Eastern sounds", the fundamental tenets of his musical ideology - with releases on Movement, Lowbit, Stripped Recordings, Stripped Digital and Hype Musik.

Remix by David Calo of Buenos Aires, whose 'Moving Myself' appears on Nick Warren's Reanaissance.

Yin Yang is a Leeds, UK label "Yin Yang is one of the world's 'premier' TECHNO and TECH HOUSE record label's and home to some of the world's biggest and best producers. You will find the biggest DJ's from all scene's have the black and white Yin Yang's in their collections. ..... We are LIGHT and DARK.."

      04. Melokolektiv - Djanka (Original Mix) [Tenampa Recordings | TENA046]

The Mexican underground imprint Tenampa Recordings returns, and it is the French duo Melokolektiv turn to delight us with their chunky Tech House sound.

With previous releases on labels such as OFF, Moodmusic, Crosstown Rebels, Sincopat & Selador to name a few, Melokolektiv make a second appearance at Tenampa with their latest material Djanka EP. This french duo, has proven in a constant basis their high standards when it comes to produce the highest quality electronic music.

Djanka is no exception, assuring all followers a maximum impact at the dancefloor while creating an environment full of hypnotic dark beats.

Remix duties by a man who doesn't need introductions: Eduardo de la Calle, one of the most active producers on the Techno international scene. He has been released on the likes of labels as Nonplus, Cadenza & Forbidden Colours. Release Date: 03 August 2015

      05. Raw District - Her Mind feat. Aquarius Heaven (Martin Buttrich Remix) [Crosstown Rebels | CRM144]

Belgian duo Raw District pair up with the formidable Aquarius Heaven for a sophisticated and seductive EP for Crosstown Rebels. ‘Her Mind’ also comes with a brilliant Martin Buttrich remix.

The iconic vocals of Aquarius Heaven sway against the mechanised dub-laden beats of ‘Her Mind’, forging a glowing fusion of languid harmony. ‘Tell No One’ is a sonically imposing beast of a track, whilst Martin Buttrich’s outstanding remix nests firmly in the heat of the night.

Raw District are the Belgian duo Vernon Bara and Massimo DaCosta, who met in a Mons record shop in 2000, and run the label Homecoming Music. Born in 2013, their music has since been seen on labels such as OM, Brique Rouge, Souvenir, Robsoul, OFF, and now Crosstown Rebels. Vernon Bara is also known as Ultrasone alongside Igor Vicente, the techno project that has released on Hot Creations and Supplement Facts.

Aquarius Heaven, born Brian Brewster, is an ex reggae dancehall and hip hop singer. Now based in Paris, he has had previous releases on Circus Company, Visionquest and Wolf + Lamb and also collaborating with dOP & Art Department.

Martin Buttrich’s journey into electronic music began in clubs in Berlin and Hannover at the dawn of the ‘90s. His notorious collaborations with Timo Maas and Loco Dice have led him to form the infamous label, Desolat and he still manages to find time to put out a remarkable collection of music.

      Release Date: 10 July 2015

      06. Emma Lock - Pure Happiness (Maxi Iborquiza Remix) [unreleased]

Maxi Iborquiza was born in S.C. de Bariloche, Argentina and co-owner of Onward Recordings (Arg) Distaff aka Bs As Deep. He hs releases across 3rd Avenue, Classound, Forward, Mistique, Proton, Southsight, Stripped Digital, LuPs, Balkan Connection South America.

      07. Eekkoo & Flowers and Sea Creatures - 4th Bell (Henry Saiz Remix) [Natura Sonoris | NS058]

Our next release brings together three Canadians and a Spaniard to the game. Eekkoo has collaborated with already familiar to the label duo Flowers & Sea Creatures to deliver a rather special EP 4th bell with the label boss on remix duties.

In its original form 4th bell is somewhere between the beautiful world of indie and electronica. With its blissful deep melody and sensual vox, building up the groove layer up on layer, Eekkoo and Flowers & Sea Creatures created a weightless feeling of the sonic aesthetics.

Henry Saiz in his turn delivers a warm, synth laced and texture-rich remix with a very subtle Middle Eastern touch, propellant beats and his typical sumptuous echoing vocals. Smooth and trippy, yet moody and emotive, locking you in to its magical soundscape thats how its done in best Saiz traditions. The Dub Mix goes down the same way but for those who prefer it vocal free. One way or another, these beauties will make your dancefloor smile.

It just really doesnt get any better than this! All the artists tried to turn the EP into a piece of art and we really think they managed to cope with this task. Well, talk is cheap, better have a listen yourself.

      Release Date: 29 June 2015

      08. Madloch & Antti Rasi - Salty Roads (Cid Inc Remix) [Sound Avenue | SA052]

The latest release on Sound Avenue finds label boss Madloch back in the spotlight with a brand new collaborative project. The Belgian artist is fresh off the release of his critically acclaimed Sound Avenue #01 Mix compilation from March of this year. Finnish producer Antti Rasi first appeared on Sound Avenue in January of 2014 with a remix of 'The Way You Look' by Future Motions. It was the beginning of fruitful relationship with the Belgian imprint as he then went on to release the genre smashing 'In My Dreams We Are Numb' EP later that year. Always looking to open new creative pathways Madloch and Antti now present their first ever studio collaboration entitled 'Salty Roads'.

Although his discography is short, Antti has been revered for his sonic abilities, and a meeting of the minds with the creative thinking Madloch has resulted in something quite unique. A warm, meaty groove sets the piece in motion before an ascending tonal sequence foreshadows the musical brilliance to come. As thick mounds of bass roll forward broken rhythms and shapely stabs further etch the groove. Spacey designs delight the senses through a brief transition before a quirky lead begins to develop. The elastic-like creation continues to evolve as the track strips itself down into the main break. A sombre atmospheric overlay then sets the stage for a second motif which lifts the vibe higher an on to an exhilarating conclusion. Fabulous production from Madloch and Antti.

The first interpretation of 'Salty Roads' is provided by Cid Inc. who is making his first appearance on Sound Avenue. Always a consummate remixer Cid Inc's interpretation of 'Salty Roads' expertly reshapes the production into a groovy dance floor bomb. Backed by boundless slabs of bass and vibrant drums it adds immense bounce to the original. The reprocessed leads carry a wonderful electricity and a twisted third act further obliterates the senses. Massive interpretation from Cid Inc.

The second and final interpretation of 'Salty Roads' is provided by John Debo who is making his third appearance on Sound Avenue. For his 'Salty Roads' interpretation John has brought a more techno minded sensibility to the track with spectacular results. It's quirky, hypnotic nature is immediately appealing as waves of electronics build a pulsating energy. With a glassy revision on the lead it's delicate emotion comes through all the more, particularly during a stripped down second act which is sure to raise a few goosebumps on the dance floor.

Amazing interpretation from John which complements the previous two versions amazingly well. it caps off another well rounded release on Sound Avenue in fine style. Don't miss it!

Early support by: Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Christian Smith, Wink, Marc Poppcke, Jimmy Van M, Chris Fortier

      Release Date: 29 June 2015

      09. Nicolas Agudelo - Solstice (King Unique Remix) [Mesmeric | MESMERIC035]

Bigness. 70s synth vibes, jacking chicago house beats, a smudge of 90s hip-hop stabs - maybe it's what all the cool kids are playing, who cares? [King Unique]

After a long hiatus and a move to Australia, MESMERIC RECORDS comes back in 2015 with a massive release from Nicolas Agudelo from Bogota, Colombia.

"Solstice" in its original form is a slice of pure summery and melodic hypnotizing melodic house.

The man who can do no wrong, aka KING UNIQUE, delivers a vibrant techno-ish interpretation of the track that will get many heads spinning.

As we are getting back to full speed, look out for more releases on Mesmeric Records later this year, from Andre Sobota, Deepfunk and Luke Chable among others. Special thanks for this release goes to Mitch @ MicroCastle.

Here's my pics which turned out quite well

Great sets from Eelke, GJ (with Nirvana and Chicola - Childhood, two really beautiful melodic tunes) and Sasha on the day. But HC topped it and played some really great new tracks I can't wait to be released.
