Watched it last night - and was pretty impressed with Guy Ritchie's ability to craft a very well done, light and breezy spy yarn. He really evokes a Mad Men vibe with the costumes, settings and soundtrack (the soundtrack is top notch, btw). Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer have a great chemistry working off one another, with some great support from Alicia Vikander, Hugh Grant and Jared Harris. Rome looks fantastic in this and Ritchie's directing ability is fantastic - he borrowed techniques from older Italian and British police and spy films and even throws in a bit of a Get Carter like theme into the music.
It's a shame this didn't do to o well at the box office, as this could have been a great little franchise.Score so far: Owned ZoverTard 8 times - twice in one week! Twice more in same weekend.
