I live in Holland and here we can still buy pretty much everything in stores. It's getting more and more difficult with cd's and movies, I have to admit that. What bothers me the most is that the choice seems to disappear, and people lose their jobs because of the shift to online-shopping.Comment

look at the flip side... along with other members' said advantages, unless it's an emergency, patience is a virtue. along with almost ALWAYS finding stuff cheaper online, if you live in america, often times you can get away with not paying sales tax.
as far as if your payment method is safe, i agree with you for the most part, but look at Target. their shoppers were paying IN store and still got their information stolen. you take your chances where ever you shop, physically or virtually.
Also, for me, not having to wait is a big advantage. I'm not a patient guy.Comment
