Unfortunately that happens , but you can't stand still while the rest of the world zooms past you. And there are a many many new things happening that create new jobs. Well, everywhere else but here in Australia.
If you look at statistics you will probably find that there are same number ,or more, number of jobs. Where the jobs are is changing.
We used to be the forefront of renewable energy research , we didn't develop it and it all went off shore. A lot to California which is becoming one of the worlds leaders in actual renewal energy. There are a lot of Aussies over there creating businesses, creating jobs, and making heaps. While our government CUTS anything to do with renewables. We are going back at 100 miles an hour
The thing is to have the foresight to see that everything is moving and changing so fast and work with that.
Btw re safety, the only problem I have had is when my card skimmed at an ATM.
