Really? idk. It looks that way to me too, but when I delete one, neither shows up.

You may have to uncheck 'Reference locally'
Seems to work for me when I post jpg or gif images.

When you post a picture, there's a checkbox that says:
Retrieve the image and reference locally

If you uncheck that box, the image will appear correctly.
Another advantage is that visitors of this site (and members who are not logged in) can see the images too.

ok, it worked when I used a url, but not from my computer. from my computer, it's always a double image now. guess I'll stop doing it that way. Thanks for your help!
