and for future reference the birthday is on June 16 :wink:
...this caught me by surprise to see it here this week. And as for the b-day celebrations, I managed to make it out last wednesday night to Le Souk for Scumfrog and Sean Cusick, who was spinning the most eclectic mix I've ever heard from him. Sean was all over the place...80s, 90s til today and always maintaining the funk...love his knowledge of tunes.
Then on Thursday made it to Cielo for Collette (one of my wife's favorites) which was a really interesting night. She spun some great Chicago/West Coast house while singing on a good number of tracks throughout the night (you may recognize her voice from a number of Kaskade tracks). She actually is a really good singer and it never sounded cheesy, which is a hell of an accomplishment in itself.
