I'd like to present Polish rising dj Cube. To make it easier for me I copied his bio from www.soundrevolt.com-->
Once Poland was very clearly divided into the urban centres where given electronic music styles were predominating. In Poznan, on one hand the people enjoyed a very minimal techno, on the other hand not even choosy disco. Cube has been living in Poznan since ever, which means that he has had to choose something for himself as well. No, it wasn?t techno ? he held a residency in one of the biggest disco bars in the city! As he admits he didn?t know much about clubbing then, assuming the clubbing was existing somewhere beyond Warsaw.
But finally he jumped into the clubbing world and decided to try himself in more ambitious sounds. On the beginning of his new path he went back to the roots. Grown up on the Depeche Mode music, Cube started to look for something close in the sound but also to be fit for dancing. That way begun his adventure with deep house, what made him a very well known and valued DJ in Poznan.
In the next years his musical style was evaluating into stronger and stronger genres of electronica. He was very slowly introducing tribal, then progressive sounds in small clubs and pubs. He was a resident of a club called ZeZ, where together with Blaze they shook the dancefloor in Thursdays nights till the very small morning hours. Maybe that?s Cube who makes progressive more and more popular in Poznan, who knows.
Since 2002 he?s been a resident at one of the best Polish clubs ? the Poznan Eskulap. He has been also invited to take part in many ?away? parties, including ? to name but a few ? the ones with James Zabiela, Michael Burian, Jeff Bennett, Timo Maas or Greg Vickers. He?s also played in front of a few thousand people at the Polish edition of Creamfields in 2003.
He?s been trying his hand outside the DJ booth as well. His remix of Futro ? ?Where Is? has won the first prize in the band?s competition. He?s also done some other tracks and he?s not going to confine himself in future. His musicality gives us hope for a better future of electronic music in Poland.
Last time his set "Sunrise At Universe" was played by Friskyradio.
So here You are almost 9 hour set recorded in time of great afterparty past the Hagal's Birthdayparty in Sonobar in Bydgoszcz, Poland.
