RA News: DJ Shadow announces new album, The Mountain Will Fall

DJ Shadow will release an album, The Mountain Will Fall, via Mass Appeal Records on June 24th.

It sees Shadow moving away from his sample-based approach towards original songwriting and live instrumentation. Erased Tapes star Nils Frahm features on the LP, as does the El-P and Killer Mike duo Run The Jewels.

He's got an Essential Mix coming up on July 2nd this year.

I agree that him moving away from sampling kind of disappoints me, but I'll still give it a chance.
