Re: Bend, Oregon
If you are into hiking, Bend is an excellent place for that.. Green Lakes, Smith Rock, Tumalo Falls, and the Lava River Cave are nice ones. I usually go past Bend for some snowboarding on Mt. Bachelor but snow season will be over soon. Sunriver Resort is another nice place.. especially among the upper class. Bend is definitely a cute town with its perks for sure... plenty of local micro-breweries in the area, Deschutes being the most popular I would say."pics or stfu" - R.I.P. Steve "Jibgolly" James -

Re: Bend, Oregon
weather was amazing, trip was great, United Airlines was not so great... ended up having to travel to 3 additional airports in order to get to Oregon and back. In total we flew to Denver, Colorado Springs, Seattle, Redmond, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and several flights were missed at these airports "due to weather." So don't fly United if you can help it.... but otherwise the trip was great.
And our rental car had a "beats by dre" sub in the trunk
