Ariel/Provocative appreciation thread

It has come to my attention that there is a good possibility that the final broadcast of Ariel Cybana's Provocative show will be on Friday July 8th at 1-3PM | 4-6PM EST | 9-11PM GMT (Eccentric Beats/Mercury Sessions).

On a personal note I've thoroughly enjoyed the steady stream (pardon the pun) of talent that Ariel has featured alongside herself over the past several months (two years in fact),

Ariel - it was mos def a pleasure to be among those featured on your show. Looking forward to your work in the future, be it in the studio or on the radio!

If you tuned in to Provocative and want to pass on any kind words to Ariel, I think it would be well-deserved here!!

indeed. ariel is responsible for landing me my current show here at eb/mn almost a year ago. she is one of the nicest people on the planet, and i wish her nothing but the best in her new ventures.

Ditto to all that has been said... I owe it to her A&R that landed me my show as well. I am confident that wherever her new ventures will take her, she will excel at them!

Yeah, I definitely appreciate her show and her sets but I believe she's just changing it to a bi-monthly show. She posted a blog about it on her MySpace account. The reason being is that she wants to focus on production, which is definitely understandable.

thanks guys, you really touched my heart. I feel blessed to have able to do this and to give back.

To clarify things here, I am indeed retiring Provocative with my final broadcast to be aired on July 8th. Was gonna go biweekly yet decided to retire it for the time being. I've had a great run with Provocative as well as having the A&R role. Phil is a super cool cat and I hope EB/MN can realize its potential someday. You guys will still hear some of the sets aired here so in a way I wont really be gone.
