i'm using firefox 1.0.4 on a dell inspiron laptop, with a packard bell optical mouse and its never scrolled for me, i thought it was the only let down with firefox. it don't work in my desktop computer either.

this happened to me with a logitech mouse. however it randomly reverted back to normal. try downloading the driver software.

Possibly the fact that you're using a Packard Bell mouse? They're not even in business anymore are they? My POS mouse has worked fine with FF since day 1.

mine works dandy too.
have you tried smashing your mouse with a hammer?
maybe its the scroller.

I had that same problem, but with a kensington mouse. I downloaded the new drivers right after I got the thing and it has worked pretty great ever since.

Very occasionaly I have the exact same problem, it`s always solved with the good ol` reboot tho.
